Our Training
Scenar Health is the premier Ritm SCENAR Institute licensed Ritm SCENAR Training organisation in both Australasia, the United States and Canada authorised to provide Ritm SCENAR training.
Chris Mortensen heads the training arm of Scenar Health and has also created training resources for all levels of Ritm SCENAR training, and conducts training seminars for both home and professional users of RITM SCENAR devices.
Chris continues to develop and update training resources for RITM SCENAR therapy, and as CEO of the Ritm SCENAR Institute, has been endorsed by the Russian Doctors and originators of SCENAR technology as their English-speaking representative and author of all English language Ritm SCENAR training materials.
Ritmedic, the manufacturer of the Ritmedic RITM SCENAR Professional in Europe, indicates that for safe operation of the Ritmedic RITM SCENAR Professional and proper results with patients a basic training is required.
The Ritm SCENAR Institute is the only Australian based training institute that has been certified by Ritmedic to deliver this basic training.

Ritm SCENAR Devices are Class IIa medical devices and in Australia their import, distribution and advertising are strictly regulated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
RITM Australia is the legal sponsor of both RITM OKB and Ritmedic SCENAR product lines.

The RITM SCENAR Expert device made in the Netherlands under a RITM OKB license by Intermediate Services (also called the RITM Pro) is listed under ARTGA number 164651 with the following intended use:
“Hand-held TENS type device used to alleviate pain and facilitate functional restoration and improvement”
Ritmedic RITM SCENAR devices have been classified as medical devices class IIA. This includes that by law the equipment can only be imported, sold, bought, serviced and used legally through certified distribution channels. Ritmedic has certified Scenar Health Australia for the distribution of Ritmedic RITM SCENAR devices as an exclusive partner in Australia.
